Welcome. Hey. Hello.

This is an active work in progress. There are errors — we're pulling together 50 years of data from every source and country we can find it.

Why join a bodyboarding club?

A bodyboarding club is the fastest way to improve. Monthly club contests give you heats against riders at your level, judges' feedback on your manoeuvres, and a reason to paddle out when conditions aren't perfect. Most clubs also run junior divisions, coaching days and beach clean-ups, and compete against each other at events like the Port Macquarie Teams Challenge.

Finding a club near you

Use the country filters above to narrow the list, or search for your town or local beach. Each club page lists the club's home break, website and contact details where we have them. Club details change often — if something is out of date, let us know so we can keep the directory accurate.

Clubs, associations and federations

  • Clubs and associations are local groups that run regular contests at a home beach.
  • State and national federations organise circuits, rankings and selection for international events.
  • Tour promoters run professional and pro-am events that clubs often help host.
